Welcome to Stinson Beach

Tucked at the foot of Mount Tamalpais, our town boasts three miles of sand and surf as well as restaurants, shops, and plentiful lodging options. Throughout the year, locals and visitors alike take part in a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and surfing.

Stinson Beach is also home to a spacious 2,000-square-foot Community Center. For more than 40 years our Community Center has hosted an array of events including weddings and receptions; seminars and conferences; musical and theatrical productions; gallery shows; workshops, classes, and lectures. A short walk from the beach and businesses, the property also features a charming chapel that seats 140 people.

Directions to Stinson Beach and the Community Center
From Highway 101, take the Stinson Beach exit, which is located one mile north of Sausalito. Follow the signs that say Stinson Beach or Highway 1. As you come into town, turn right on Belvedere Avenue (the Stinson Beach Fire Department sits on the corner). The Community Center is just past the station on the right.
